The place was later renamed Brighton South at around 1986, and finally Moorabbin in 1909.In I960, the Moorabbin East post office was launched near Chesterville Road.The local government seat moved to Cheltenham from Moorabbin when Moorabbin was integrated into the bigger City of Kingston.
