Child Dental Benefits Schedule The Federal Government’s new program under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule was rolled out in January 2014. The aim of the program is to provide access to basic dental care services to children between the ages of 2 to 17 years. Eligibility is assessed at the beginning of every calendar year. During this time, a child is considered eligible if they are 2-17 years old for at least one day of the calendar year.
